Having been to Shodoshima and enjoyed it for the quiet and calm, and maybe for just getting out to feel the sea wind on the ferry out, I always thought it was a special place. The times I have been have always been calm and uncrowded. It seems that I am not the only person who enjoys the place. Digging around in YouTube for this project has resulted in finding some great videos of the place. I have to say that I am REALLY impressed with the high quality of the editing, and the really classy approaches to making quality work. Makes me also feel a little embarrassed of my own feeble attempts.

Ok, so if you want to see what Shodoshima looks like, rather than reading through what I am blathering on about, please check out these two videos.

The first is by Samantha C. and I like her video called “Shodoshima Self Drive Tour”. The music is good and cheerful and she just takes you along with her on the trip. It’s in Chinese, but it is subtitles excellently throughout. Thanks for that Samantha C. Check it out:

The next Shodoshima video I would like to share with you is one that is very new, and simply gorgeous.

The arial views are astonishing. Come along with the Kelly family and check out the top three reasons to visit Shodoshima! I am amazed at the incredible patience and care it must have taken to make this video. I thought it was one of the greatest things I have seen in a long time.

Wonderful!!
