I made this video a little while back for presentation purposes. It is a very brief promotional piece I made in the hopes of introducing some of the sights of where I live.
I can’t help it. I love living in Kagawa-ken. It’s my home. My kids go to school here. I go to work and teach kids English here. I meet business people and help them reach the larger English speaking world with their products and services. I walk my dogs along the rice fields here. I drive along the little streets here. I meet friends for a dinner and beer here. I welcome and host friends from overseas here.
I hope you will come here too. I’ve said it lots before. I like the big cities of Japan, and the cool sites of ancient temples and historical places, but the “real Japan” for me is in places like Kagawa. In many ways, Kagawa-ken can’t be beat. The weather is very good. Even the hot summers are somehow bearable. Spring is long. Autumn is long. Winter is pretty mild. Kagawa gets not so much rain, and seldom experiences typhoons and earthquakes. The sea is calm. The hills are mossy.
Here is my feeble video. Please give it a look and let me know what you think.
