Here is a short video of a very beautiful Takamatsu Black Pine! This was shot at the World Bonsai Convention of 2017.

Every year people from all over the world come to check out the roots of bonsai. There are many nurseries to visit, and people can come and get very close looks at the places where they are raised. Bonsai is available for export, but it depends on the import regulations and procedures of your country so please do not hesitate to get in touch with these gardens and ask the questions you need to!

Here is another video for bonsai and this on is from the Takamatsu Bonsai Convention of 2014. The displays are simply breathtaking, and you can see the painstaking detail in these living works of art.

What is so great about bonsai is that you don’t need to be an expert horticulturalist to really enjoy the shapes and artistry of the bonsai. It seems that everyone from kids to adults can really get into bonsai trees and gardening.

We hope that you will come and see the bonsai of Kagawa in person. That is always the best way to experience bonsai, and while you are here how about trying your hand at it too? There is nothing more enjoyable than maybe getting a bonsai for your own home that you found and cultivated from the heart of bonsai country itself.

So how might you go about doing that? Well, there is a seemingly quite reputable bonsai tour company that does this kind of work right now. They come to Kagawa, as well as the Omiya area in Saitama Prefecture. This is their website:
