Dr. David Morton has a name that is very well known in Shikoku, and it comes as no surprise. He is deeply involved in the preservation, promotion, and education of the Shikoku Pilgrimage. I really recommend that you read whatever you can that he has written about the experience. He can also offer a lot of advice and sage counsel about how to best navigate the pilgrimage as well. Soft-spoken, humble, and also a fellow Canadian, there is much to admire about the man. This video is produced by the Tokushima prefectural government in an effort to make the pilgrimage more accessible, and also to help educate newcomers to best behaviours and practices on the Shikoku Pilgrimage.
