There is a remarkable woman from France, and her name is Emilie Berteau. A few years back she decided to make a documentary about Japan’s famous Shikoku Pilgrimage. And she did it. Looking through the film she created I am simply stunned at the dedication, the style, the variation of shots and approaches. It really is so artistically done, and yet does not stray from the pilgrimage and lose itself in art. An interesting, and delicate balance.

As an ambassador for the Ohenro experience for France, there is no one better suited than Ms. Berteau. I don’t know if they play baseball in her country, but this one is a home run. The material is in Japanese, and Ms. Berteau speaks very nice and elegant Japanese throughout. Take a look anyway. I thought it was tremendous!
