It’s been a while… this blog has been conspicuously quiet for the past few months, but it is no wonder, considering the huge impact that COVID 19 has had on everyone’s lives.
But we need to get restarted, and we have a lot to talk about. In my little corner of the world, in my corner of Shikoku, we have been getting busier and busier recently. And there have been some changes.
The biggest change has been that our company, englishbiz, has been recruited by Shikoku Tourism as its Concierge. The work has been a little slow, but we did manage to run a few seminars with them and are in the midst of researching some of the issues that are pertinent to the corona virus situation and trying to prognosticate the future of Inbound Tourism for the region.
I’m going to try to be a little more active on this site, especially as I really believe we are going to see some changes in the next year. I want this site to be a great resource for people who are planning to come to Shikoku, and for anyone coming to Japan who is looking for a “Deep Japan” experience. There is much to do and see and experience here, so I hope that I can put out enough information, and link to a lot of people who have been walking these paths that are oft less traveled.
