This article, written by Liz Goodall, is stellar. Simply excellent from all sides, and she really comes to understand how and why Shikoku is the journey for the Deep Japan traveler. Hitting all the hot spots of the island, she also writes about the quieter and more subtle tones and experiences of Shikoku as well.
I love that she says that Japan is not a destination, but an emotion. And it seems that some things in Shikoku resonated with her in a very special, unique, and uncharted way.
