First: How to Get to Kagawa
Coming to Kagawa is easy. And there are a few different ways you can do it. Takamatsu airport is accessible from Haneda airport (Tokyo), Narita airport (Tokyo), Hong Kong (direct flight), Seoul (direct flight), and Shanghai (direct flight).
Coming by airplane is the easiest way to get here and the airport is 20 minutes away from the city centre so you will not have to wait too long until you can take your shoes off in your hotel and relax a little.
Another way to come to Kagawa is come by train. The easiest way to do that is to take any of the Shinkansen (bullet trains) to Okayama City in Okayama prefecture. From there get off the train and ride the Marine Liner which takes about an hour to come to Takamatsu station.
Takamatsu station is the “end of the line” so you don’t have to worry about missing your stop. When the train finally stops, you made it. The station is central to the city so you can easily jump in a taxi to take you to your accommodations.
